THE BEST OF 2015

What a year 2015 has been! It was a bit of a different one for me as I travelled outside of my normal tropical realms on BOTH of my personal shoots this year. Spending 3 weeks in Alaska and then 3 weeks down in the Sub-Antarctic were both unforgettable experiences! Talk about two very far away places. If you draw a line on the map between them they are over 17,000km apart!!!

In addition to those two shoots my workshops also had me back in Ecuador, Costa Rica twice and Peru. I didn't shoot too much here in Canada this year but did manage a few short road trips for some target species in the Pacific Northwest.

In 2015 I also continued to add to my library of instructional Ebooks with my new title - Video Simplified: A Guide for Nature Photographers

The year began in Ecuador where Bartley's Photo Workshops led 2 sold out workshops. Because I was guiding I really didnt shoot much this year. I did pick off a few new nice frames though!

SOUTH GEORGIA AND THE FALKLAND ISLANDS

My main personal shoot for this year was a trip to the most remote place I have ever been - South Georgia. Because I was already so far from home I decided to stay down in the sub-Antarctic for an extra week and visit the Falkland Islands too.
