The bird life in Ecuador is astonishing! During a 5 month visit in 2009 I tried to find and photograph as many of Ecuador’s beautiful birds as possible. This book is the product of this wonderful photographic journey.

This book project is a joint effort between myself and The Mindo Clouforest Foundation (MCF). MCF is an Ecuadorian non-profit conservation group with members from 5 countries.  They specialize in linking birding tourism to habitat conservation.

50% of all proceeds from this book will go directly to the Mindo Cloud-forest Foundation.

In November of 2005 I traveled to Costa Rica for what would be the trip of a lifetime. Over the next six months I explored as many of the country's special places as was possible Along the way I attempted to capture a glimpse of the beauty that surrounded me in the photos that I took.
