GLENN BARTLEY Glenn Bartley is a professional nature photographer from Victoria, British Columbia on Canada's west coast.  He focuses on capturing intimate portraits of birds in their natural surroundings. Glenn strives for what he calls “clean” images – where the subject is clear, distracting elements are kept to a minimum and the background is pleasingly blurred out of focus. Glenn’s work has been published widely throughout North America in books and magazines (such as Birder’s World, Audubon Magazine, National Geographic, Canadian Wildlife, Photolife, Birding & Bird Watchers Digest).  His most recent books are entitled – “Birds in Ecuador: A Photographic Journey”, "Birds of British Colombia" and "Birds of Vancouver Island". Glenn loves to share his passion for photography and for the natural world with those who attend his photographic workshops and through various online forums and resources.

www.jessfindlay.com		JESS FINDLAY Jess Findlay is an emerging talent in nature photography, based in Vancouver, British Columbia. Since a very young age, Jess has been exploring the wilderness of the Pacific Northwest, pursuing his passion for documenting wildlife and landscapes. Jess has been awarded the title of 2011 Nature's Best Youth Photographer of the Year and has been featured in various international publications. Jess has been guiding for Bartley's Photo Workshops since 2013 and has led numerous trips to Ecuador, Peru and Costa Rica. WHAT MAKES BARTLEY'S TOURS DIFFERENT FROM THE COMPETITORS? Small Group Size = Personal Attention Glenn focuses on more personalized attention, instruction and guidance. Where many companies claim to have small groups – the reality is that they consider this to be 10, 12 or even 16 people! On Glenn Bartley’s workshops groups are kept to between 4-8 photographers to ensure that everyone gets the private instruction and shooting opportunities that they deserve. Because of the small group size Glenn is able to cater to individual photographic needs without compromising the trip for other photographers. The topics of nature photography, post processing, camera and computer equipment, photo marketing, the environment, wildlife and many more are sure to be discussed as we all share stories and opinions. Environmental and Social Responsibility Having completed his Msc. in Environmental Studies Glenn is very environmentally and socially aware.
